There are plants that are fairly low maintenance, if you have a hard time keeping plants alive. You should, however, take care not to overwater the plants since leaking water could do damage to your floors. If you add too many plants to your home, the moisture they release could also do damage, but this can be remedied by running a dehumidifier.
